I haven't been posting very often, but I want that to change. I'm started drawing more since last night and have been asking local people are $5 commissions. Mainly drawing animals though. I have two pieces of art that I am excited to put up, but I have to have a better camera to do so. I'm getting a phone within the week, or I might use my friend's camera. Whether way, sorry for the wait!

GIMP HELP

When drawing with my tablet on my laptop, I like to sketch out what I'm going to draw on paper first. Then upload it into GIMP and go over the line art. The only problem is I don't know how to do that because of layering. I can't for the life of me figure out how to draw line art over my sketch, but on a different layer so it's on a black white layer too. Does anyone have any answers? I would highly appreciate it!

Art struggles

I watch such amazing artist. I look at what they've created and then look at what I've done. I compair to such an extent, that I just want to delete everything I've posted because it looks horrible. Because my art is inadequate. Because I don't have the computer programming to make it look like quality artwork. I know I shouldn't though. I know I can get better if I practice. However, I want a better art style. I just want my art to be good enough for people to want to see more. I just don't know where to start and I have no clue how to change my style. If anyone has any advice, feel free to comment. I'm just kind of stuck.
